You can join us for a three day Heaphy Track Cycling package where you will travel through expansive tussock downs, lush forests and Nikau palms to the roaring seas of the South Island's West Coast. To enjoy the ride you will need to have a good standard of fitness, be an intermediate or above mountain biker and able to carry a 25-40 litre pack with your personal items including a sleeping bag.We will do all the planning and preparation for you so you can maximise your time on the Heaphy Track. We aim to make the more difficult elements of the track attainable through expert guiding and coaching combined with local knowledge.
YOUR GUIDE Nathan is a very accomplished multi athlete and all round great companion to ensure your wellness, safety and overall enjoyment. After global travelling and working, Nathan has been an addict to cycling since he was 16 years old (some 40 years ago) He turned professional cycling / racing the Tour de France, organizing cycle tours all over the world, trekking and mountaineering throughout Nepal, China, India and Pakistan. Now based in Motueka this true adventurer with excellent communication and organizing skills will become your intriguing cycling companion on this unique part of New Zealand; The Heaphy Track.

Brown Hut to Perry Saddle Hut: 2 hr 30 min- 4 hr, 17.5 km
Perry Saddle to Heaphy Hut: 6 hr 30 min- 8 hr 30 min, 44.7 km
Heaphy Hut to Kohaihai Shelter: 3-4 hr, 16.2 km.
